How to make a wire 9 pin or loop

This is a very basic tutorial.

Wire 9 pin / loop making:

1. Grasp the end of wire as little as possible to make a round loop.

This will not make a round loop.

The loop is not round

Grasp as little as possible

2. Turn the pliers once to make a loop. Avoid turning back and forth.

 

3. Grasp the wire as photo with the very tips of pliers and turn the pliers.

 4. Done!

Capital E and wire heart

A wire heart is a popular component in wire work. Probably a heart is the very first object to add on crafts for many people.

One heart is good.
Two hearts mean double hearts, you and I.
Three hearts form a clover.
Four hearts make a lucky clover.


There are more than one ways to form heart with wire.


Recently, I tried a new way to make hearts with wire.
When I turned the wires up and down and found that heart is just like capital E.

This teaches us again:
One method can be applied in many forms. Knowing a method well can improve craft-making much.

Write gaga with wire

This wire gaga design is using double-ring.

"g" and "a" have same loop. When it comes to handmade, it's hard to make things the same. The tip is using same tool and same technique.

Call the wire craft a gaga pendant, a gaga dangle or a gaga bookmark, whatever you like.
